Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has ordered the Government to grant the licenses for Russia's largest independent gas producer NOVATEK for four deposits on the Yamal Peninsula in the North of the country, the Government said on Friday.
NOVATEK was the only bidder for the right to development, Geofizichenskoye, Salmanovskoye (Utrenneye), Severo Novosibirsk and East Tambeiskoye fields at a June auction that was ruled null and void.
